Praised for his first novel titled The Burglar Diaries. The success of that novel led him to create a "diaries" series, which included The Bank Robber Diaries, The Hitman Diaries, and The Pornographer Diaries.

Before Fame

For close to a decade starting in 1993, he worked in magazines and later became Editor of Mayfair Magazine.

Trivia

He has been arrested multiple times for counts of burglary and grand theft auto.

Family Life

He has four children with Jeannette Crockett who he married in 2007.
