Canadian music promoter famous for his work in building the Toronto music scene. A documentary about his life called The Last Music Man was released in 2011. He has worked as a journalist, specializing in covering crime.

He worked for the Montreal Gazette as a teenager. 

Trivia

He contributed to the book Iced: The Story of Organized Crime in Canada. He famously got into a fight with the members of the band The Hospitals. 

Family Life

He was raised in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district of Montreal. He was homeless from 1995 to 1997.
