She has a sister named Brooke Selman. She was married to Paul Edward Hospenthal, who was originally her physical therapist, from 2005 until 2013. She then dated fellow race car driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers. She was later dating Carter Comstock, but they broke up in 2022.
