Well known for her raspy voice to complement her childlike looks, she portrayed Audrey Griswald in National Lampoon’s European Vacation. Other notable roles of hers were in Shoot the Moon and Cross Creek.

Before Fame

She was a promising athlete before an affliction with Type I Diabetes ended those hopes. In her teen years, she began acting in commercials before receiving her breakthrough role in the 1981 television movie Fallen Angel.

Trivia

As a voice actress, she portrayed Scrappy in Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures and also provided her voice in Jetsons: The Movie, Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Goof Troop, Tom and Jerry: The Movie and Duckman.

Family Life

She was born to Sandy Hill and commercial director Ted Goetz in Los Angeles. She died of a stroke after complications with Type I Diabetes.
