Young Artist Award-nominated actor of both film and television, popularly known for his roles in feature films like Scrooged, What's Love Got to do With It, and all 4 installments of the Lethal Weapon franchise. He also appeared on episodes of the highly esteemed television series St. Elsewhere, L.A. Law, Sister, Sister, Chicago Hope, Happy Endings, and more. 

Before Fame

He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Loyola Marymount University in 1998, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He later went on to earn his master's degree in speech communication and rhetoric from California State University: Los Angeles, as well as a doctor of education (Ed.D.) degree in higher education/administration from the University of Southern California.

Trivia

As early as 2008, he began working as a professor and senior lecturer at institutions such as Saddleback College, Los Angeles City College, and his alma matter Loyola Marymount University, where he also taught communication studies.

Family Life

He is married to Maribel Hines, with whom he has a son named Joaquin.

He played the role of Nick Murtaugh in each of the 4 Lethal Weapon movies opposite Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Joe Pesci.
