Dale Talde

About

Chef, TV personality, and author known for starring on Top Chef: Chicago and Top Chef: All-Stars. He has opened a chain of Asian fusion restaurants called TALDE as well as a stand-alone Cantonese restaurant in Terrytown, New York called Goosefeather. He has gained over 70,000 followers to his daletalde Instagram account where he shares pictures of him working behind the scenes on television shows as well as pictures of him and his family. 

Before Fame

As a child, he first learned how to cook by watching his mother prepare meals. He opened his very first restaurant, TALDE, in Brooklyn, New York in 2012. He has since opened branches of TALDE in Miami, Florida and Jersey City, New Jersey. 

Trivia

He is Filipino-American. He released his first cookbook, Asian American, in 2015.

He and his wife Agnes have two children.
