Before Fame

He released his first mixtape, The Apprentice Mixtape Vol. 1, at age seventeen. He signed his first record deal at age 14, to the labels Casablanca Records and Def Jam Recordings.

He has a sister named Whitney. He was born in The Bronx, New York City. His father is fellow rapper Peter Gunz.
