Rapper who became a rising force in Christian hip-hop with the release of his 2013 debut Grace Love Mercy. In addition to his acclaimed solo work, he has released music as a member of the rap and R&B group W.L.A.K. 

Before Fame

He grew up in the South Park region of south-central Houston, Texas. He embraced Christianity after becoming weary of Houston's party scene.

He created his own Christian record label called Frontline Movement in 2010.

His father passed away when Corey was nine years old.
