Professional catcher and infielder that was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers during the third round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He was later acquired by the Boston Red Sox via trade in February 2020. Prior to being drafted, he attended the University of Houston, where he was first-team All-American Athletic Conference in 2016. 

Before Fame

He is a graduate of Pearland High School. He began his professional career playing for the Dodger's rookie affiliate team the Arizona League Dodgers. 

Trivia

He made his official major league debut playing against the Tampa Bay Rays on June 22, 2021, as a member of the Red Sox. A few days later, he collected his first career hit playing against the New York Yankees. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Houston, Texas. He is one of two siblings.
