He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts where he played Division I football.

Trivia

While pursuing a Master's degree in creative writing from the University of Oxford, he worked as a development intern at Scott Free Productions. He then worked at the Fox Writers Studio as a writer's assistant.

Family Life

He is the older brother of Cassidy Gifford. His half-siblings are Kyle Gifford, Jeff Gifford and Vicky Gifford Kennedy. In September 2020, he married longtime girlfriend Erika Brown. They had a son Frank Michael in 2022. In June 2023, they announced that they were expecting their second child together. They welcomed Ford Matthew in November 2023.
