Before Fame

He started to post in 2010 on YouTube with a video about building a bow to go hunting. Many of his first videos were about primitive hunting topics including hunting for squirrels and wild boar. His background is as a wildlife biologist. 

Trivia

With over 4 million views, one of his most popular videos was about how to make a primitive water filter. He and his family live off the grid as much as possible, foraging and hunting their own food.

He is from Florida, but lives in Idaho. He is married to Elizabeth, and they have two sons, Coye and Fen.
