Christian Whitehead

Game developer known professionally as The Taxman who became a celebrity within the Sonic the Hedgehog fan community by producing well-regarded ports of the early games in the series. He was one of the project leads on the critically-acclaimed Sonic Mania (2017). 

Before Fame

He was previously a 3D animator with Kine Graffiti. He began focusing on game development in 2009.

Trivia

In 2015, he announced that he had begun work on his first non-Sonic the Hedgehog game, Freedom Planet 2. 

Family Life

His sister inspired him to get a Mega Drive as a child.

He is a lifelong fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, which was co-created by Yuji Naka.
