Chris Barrie

Impressionist known for being a cast member on the sketch show Spitting Image. He also portrayed Gordon Brittas in the BBC sitcom The Brittas Empire.

Before Fame

He started his career on The David Essex Showcase, after dropping out of Brighton Polytechnic. It was here that he adopted the name "Barrie".

Trivia

He is best known for his roles as Arnold Rimmer in the sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf, which has run on and off from 1988 to 2012.

Family Life

He married Aleks Barrie, who he has two children with, in 1997. He was previously married to his first wife Monica from 1987 to 1990. His father served in the British Army.

He did a voice impersonation of Ronald Reagan for Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
