Choi Sung-eun

South Korean actress who first gained fame for her portrayal of So Kyung-joo in the 2019 comedy film Start-Up. She went on to play the role of Yoo Jae Yi in the mystery/thriller series Beyond Evil. In 2021, she joined the cast of the Netflix series The Sound of Magic.

Before Fame

She studied acting at the Korea National University of Arts. She performed as a theatre actress at the Doosan Art Center before her film and television career took off.

Trivia

In 2020, she was named Best New Actress at the 25th Chunsa Film Art Awards for her role in Start-Up. The following year, she was nominated for Best New Actress - Television at the Baeksang Arts Awards for her performance in Beyond Evil.

She has two brothers.
