Chad Stahelski

Filmmaker and stuntman best known for directing John Wick and its sequels. He launched his career as a stunt double with his work on 1994's The Crow. He went on to perform stunts in Escape from L.A., The Matrix, and Wild Wild West.

Before Fame

He worked as a martial arts instructor before launching his career as a stunt performer.

Trivia

He appeared on a 2023 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. He was nominated for World Stunt Awards in 2004 and 2017.

Family Life

His parents are Gary and Kathleen Stahelski. He was married to stunt double Heidi Moneymaker but the two divorced in 2018. 

Associated With

As director of the John Wick films, he has worked with Keanu Reeves. He and Brandon Lee trained together at Dan Inosanto's martial arts school in California.
