She trained at the Actor's Technique Improvisation Class in NYC. She also trained in tap dance at the Cecil Dance Center. Prior to her acting roles, she was a background performer for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Annie, and The Black Box.

She studied jazz for 8 years and ballet for 3 years. She was homeschooled.

She grew up in Manhattan living with her family. Her close proximity to the myriad training centers and acting studios made it easier for them to support her ambition as an actress.
