Subject of the television film The Brooke Ellison Story due to being the first quadriplegic to graduate from Harvard University. She worked as a professor at Stony Brook University and was a motivational speaker. 

Before Fame

She was hit by a car while she was in middle school which resulted in her neck down paralysis.

Trivia

She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in cognitive neuroscience and a master's in public policy. She passed away at the age of 45.

Family Life

She was born in New York before attending Harvard just outside of Boston.
