Rose to fame as one-half of the British comedy duo Cannon and Ball alongside Tommy Cannon. He starred on The Cannon and Ball Show on ITV between 1979-1988, as well as Cannon and Ball's Playhouse, Plaza Patrol, and Cannon and Ball's Casino in the 1990s.
