Before Fame

He and his daughter Emily started his TikTok account in the fall of 2020. Emily had originally come up with the idea for the account as a playful and sentimental project to share with her siblings. However, his optimistic outlook and heartfelt advice quickly went viral and within just a few days, one of his videos had acquired over 1 million views on TikTok.

Trivia

His daughter, Emily, suffered a traumatic brain injury during a soccer game when she was 18 years old. Her excruciating pain as a result inspired him to create branded merch so that he could raise money for the research and tests to treat her condition. In January of 2021, he shared a video on his account in which he stated that because of the proceeds and donations from his followers, he was able to send her to a specialized brain injury clinic in Portland, OR.  

Family Life

His real name is Bo Petterson. In January 2021, he and his wife shared a video in which they told the story of when they decided to elope in Reno, NV, years after having had all of their children. His daughter Emily has appeared in several of his videos. Including Emily, he is the father of 6 children altogether.
