Bo Nickal

American wrestler, athlete, and mixed martial artist who is best known for competing in the UFC middleweight division. He was a finalist at the 2020 US Olympic Team Trials. He was a member of a Penn State University team that was one of the strongest in collegiate sports.

Before Fame

He started wrestling at age five. He made the varsity high school team while in the eighth grade. Nickal opted to take a redshirt season in his first collegiate year, compiling a 15-2 record in open tournaments while wrestling unattached at 174 pounds.

Trivia

He earned the 2019 Dan Hodge Trophy as the nation's most outstanding collegiate wrestler. In the year 2023, he made his official UFC debut against Jamie Pickett. He stands 6'1" tall and weighs in at 185 pounds.

Family Life

In the year 2020, he married Maddie Holmberg. His parents, Jason and Sandy Nickal, were both college athletes.
