Before Fame

Born Jessica Smyth, she had a diverse and creative background due to her upbringing. Growing up in Spain, she was exposed to various musical influences that would later shape her unique sound. In 2015, she joined the music collective NiNE8, where she began experimenting with music and refining her style. She started uploading tracks to SoundCloud in 2016, gradually building an audience. She gained popularity in 2019 with her EP, "Big Fan of the Sesh."

Trivia

The name "Biig Piig" came from an incident where a pizza delivery guy misheard her name as "Big Pig" and she found it amusing enough to adopt it as her stage name. She released her debut album, 11:11, in February 2025, to critical acclaim.

Family Life

She is the eldest of four siblings, with two younger brothers and a sister. At the age of four, her family relocated to Spain's Costa del Sol to improve her brother Paddy's severe asthma, as recommended by their doctor. There, her parents operated bars and restaurants. However, due to the financial crash, they were compelled to move back to Ireland, where they continued their hospitality ventures. Later, at 14, the family moved to West London, where her parents currently run a pub.
