Iranian-born American professional mixed martial artist. He competes in the lightweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is ranked sixth in his division as of May 2022.

Before Fame

He began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2007, and in January 2014, he made his UFC debut.

He was born and raised on a farm in Iran, and emigrated to America with his family when he was nine years old.
