Singer-songwriter, actress, and model acclaimed for her EPs including "In the Meantime" and "Adultsville." As an actress, she starred as Kyazike Mayagenda on the Channel 4 and Hulu television series Queenie, which began airing in 2024. She has also served as a mentor on the BBC reality competition show The Rap Game UK. 

Before Fame

She began performing in musical theatre from the time she was just four years old. She was scouted by her first management team after they observed her performing the song "Flawless" by Beyoncé at a local festival. She released her debut EP "Last Train Home" in 2019 and its featured single, "Never Loved," went on to be named Track of the Week by BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Trivia

She received a MOBO Award nomination for Best R&B/Soul Act in 2023. The following year, she was nominated for a MOBO Award in the Best New International Act category. She was also a nominee for the BET Award for Best New International Act in 2024.

Family Life

She was born Isobel Akpobire. Raised by a single mother, she credits the uncles they lived with for having a profound influence on her musical tastes and passion as she grew up.

She joined renowned soul singer NAO on the North American leg of her 2025 tour. She starred on the television drama series Queenie alongside Tilly Keeper and Samuel Adewunmi.
