Rose to fame for playing the heavy and proud Lauren Zizes in Fox's musical television series Glee. She also played a role on the Family show Huge.

Before Fame

Her first on-screen role was in the Tribeca Film Festival hit Fat Girls, which brought her to television shows like Make It or Break It. 

Trivia

Making her Glee debut in season 1, she continued to have irregular, but increasingly important, appearances in later episodes, becoming a much-discussed figure by critics. 

Family Life

She was born in Houston, Texas, one of four sisters in the family.

Associated With

Her character was hailed for promoting a positive body image on Glee, after a much-noted interaction with the character of Puck, played by Mark Sallin.
