Before Fame

He fell in love with hairstyling as a teenager after seeing a Vidal Sasson commercial. After completing a cosmetology degree, he continued training in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, and other cities around the United States.

Trivia

In 2011, he won an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling.

Family Life

He passed away in August 2016, leaving behind his fiancee, fellow stylist Dontay Savoy, and son, DeAntwon Jackson.
