She and her sister Gwen Gordy Fuqua were responsible for the photo concession at the Flame Show Bar in Detroit.

Trivia

She created her own record label, Anna Records, with her sister and Billy Davis Jr. in 1958.

Family Life

She and Motown legend Marvin Gaye had a rocky marriage, but it was creatively fruitful, producing many of Motown's best-known hits. She and Gaye adopted a son, Marvin Pentz Gaye III, although they told the press he was naturally conceived.
