About

Snowboarder who, in 2018, represented Austria at the first-ever big air snowboarding event in the history of the Olympic Games. She previously won the ESPY Award for Best Female Action Sports Athlete in 2017. 

Before Fame

She grew up in Millstatt, Austria and began to compete in snowboarding in 2010. 

Trivia

In November 2013, Gasser became the first female snowboarder to successfully perform a Cab Double Cork 900 kicker in competition.

Her parents are Peter and Liesbeth Gasser.

She bested Finland's Enni Rukajarvi at the 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships.
