Andrew Raycroft

About

Former NHL goaltender and athlete that played for the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and the Dallas Stars during his 11 year career. He was originally taken as a fifth round pick in the 1998 NHL draft by the Boston Bruins. He stands 6'0" tall and weighs 185 pounds.

Before Fame

He first began playing hockey as a kid with the Quinte Red Devils. As a teenager, he played in the Ontario Hockey League.

Trivia

In the year 2007, he tied a Toronto Maple Leafs single season franchise record with 37 wins as a goalkeeper. He is tied with former goalie Ed Belfour. Just a few years after being drafted by the Bruins, he was given the Calder Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL Rookie of the Year.

Family Life

He lives along with his wife, Sarah, and their family. He is a father of three children.
