Andrew Hermann

Racewalker famous for his work competing in the Olympics and other major races. He came in 31st place at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He raced in the 1997 and 1999 World Championships. Outside of his racing career, he has served as president of CorSource Technology Group.

Before Fame

He began competing in racewalking while attending Willamette University. 

Trivia

His first time placing in a major race he finished in fifth place finish at the 20K Nationals. He briefly moved to Spain in 1997 to train with their national team. He became the co-owner of a company that sells high-end kitchen appliances after his retirement. He retweeted a post on his ahermann Twitter page about the University of Oregon football team.

He was born in Newport, Oregon.
