Rapper best known for being the first female rapper to secure a major record deal in over a decade's time. She signed a recording contract with Virgin Records in 2012. 

Before Fame

When she was 14, she attended a Missy Elliott concert and, when the audience was asked if anybody could rap, she volunteered. She performed a freestyle there, which marked the beginning of her rap career.

Trivia

In 2012, she released the EP "Short and Back Sides", which became an entry on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts. In December 2013, she began her own radio program on BBC Radio 1XTRA called A.Dot.

She was born and raised in South London, England.
