Singer, musician, entertainer, artist, performer, and songwriter who was a founding member of the duo Groove Theory with Bryce Wilson.  Her debut solo album was 2000's Infinite Possibilities. Her singles include "Get Up," "Sweet Misery," "Afraid," "Weary," and "For Real."

Before Fame

She lived in Philadelphia when she was a teenager. She attended a performing arts high school prior to starting her professional music career.

Trivia

She collaborated with Stanley Clarke and Glenn Lewis on a cover of Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway's 1972 song "Where Is the Love." In the year 2004, the song received a nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the Grammy Awards.

Family Life

In the year 1994, she married Laru Larrieux. Together, they have two daughters; Sky and Sanji-Rei. Her parents are Brenda Dixon Gottschild and Esty Stowell.
