She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies from St Mary's College, Durham prior to finding fame as a professional actress and performer.

Her earliest screen role was in the 2018 short film Fair Bnb. She and Andrew Shires formed a duo titled Megan from HR. Mod has a lead role in the upcoming Disney+ thriller series Playdate.
