Canadian swimmer specializing in the breaststroke who, in July 2009, broke the World Record in the 50-meter breaststroke with a time of 30.23 seconds. She later represented Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Before Fame

She was born in Scarborough, Ontario and trained at the Etobicoke Swim Club.

Trivia

In 2009, she became the first Canadian woman to break a long course world record in swimming since Allison Higson did so in 1988.
