English actor best known for starring in the Netflix UK Original Series Lockwood & Co., as the teenage ghost hunter "George Karim." He also stars as "Warren" in Season 4 of the series Bad Education. His Instagram account alihadjiheshmati features a handful of posts picturing highlights from his acting career, which has helped him gain over 40,000 followers. 

Before Fame

He was a full-time student at the University of Oxford but had to cut back to part-time studies when he was offered the role in Lockwood & Co., due to the show's demanding schedule. His major is English Literature. His acting career began playing the role of "Abs Raza" on a few episodes of the TV series Holby City. 

Trivia

He was never interested in acting as a child until he was pressured into auditioning for a school play by a girl he liked at the age of 12. Although she ultimately was not cast, he earned the leading role and fell in love with performing right away. He is British-Iranian.

He was raised by a British-Muslim family and comes from Arabian heritage.
