Norwegian pop star who made a splash in 2012 with the release of her debut single "Sunrise," which hit number one on the Platekompaniet sales chart and was eventually certified triple platinum. She was previously a contestant on Dansefeber, the Norwegian version of the dancing competition So You Think You Can Dance.

Before Fame

She began performing at age nine. She danced ballet before moving on to hip-hop.

Trivia

In 2010, she was physically assaulted by a Cuban diplomat in Oslo, an incident which was captured on video and made international headlines.

Family Life

Her father, Sverre Indris Joner, is Norwegian. Her mother, Barbara Joner, is Cuban.

Her song "Sunrise" includes vocals from the hip-hop duo Madcon, featuring rapper Tshawe Baqwa.
