Vocalist and guitarist for the self-described black pop band Love, Robot who was asked to be the group's guitarist in 2006. The group released the album B.A.D. on June 24, 2014.

Before Fame

She was 14 years old when she received an electric guitar as a Christmas gift. She taught herself to play "Jingle Bells" on the first day.

She was able to express her sexuality through music and has been looked up to as a role model in that regard.

She was born in Los Angeles, California. She dated PVRIS singer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen for a few years. Her sister is photographer Sam san Roman.
