Before Fame

She started dancing at age three and danced competitively for eight years.

She enjoys creative writing and traveling when she's not working on assorted acting projects. She was also cast as the character Eva in Shawn Chou's comedy Tiger Mom. Alexa is extremely proud of her East Asian heritage, and she is an advocate for the need for greater diversity and East Asian representation in film and television.
