Albert Russell

American director who also appeared on screen as an actor and behind the scenes as a screenwriter. He has directed several short films including The Trail of the Hound and Double Danger.

Before Fame

Starting in 1912 he began to appear in films and it wasn't until 1919 that he started to direct. In between that time, in 1916, he started to write screenplays.

Trivia

He co-wrote the 1917 comedy Baseball Madness and directed the 1919 film serial The Lion Man.

Family Life

He was born in New York, New York and died in Los Angeles of pneumonia.

Associated With

His brother William Russell also died of pneumonia only two weeks prior to his death.
