Famous for his role as Harry on the 1970s British sitcom The Squirrels and for his portrayal of Llewellyn Ap Caradog on the early 2000s BBC comedy series The Green Green Grass, he is also notable for playing Tancred Taylour on Foxy Lady and Bernie on Making Out.

Before Fame

Early in his career, he guest starred on the police drama The Sweeney.

Trivia

A stage performer as well as a screen actor, he appeared in numerous Royal Shakespeare Company productions and also acted in plays at the Royal Court Theatre, the Almeida Theatre, and the National Theatre.

Family Life

He spent his early years in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales. After relocating to London, England, he raised two children with his wife.
