She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bobson College in 2004. In 2017 she began her master's degree in psychology at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles.

Her parents are Dotty Suraida and Indra U. Bakrie, the co-chairman of the Bakrie Group. She married Seng Hoo Ong in 2008. They have a daughter and a son - Kierrra, born 2011, and Kellan, born 2014.
