Adam Grant

About

American organizational psychologist, author, and professor who has taught at University of North Carolina and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He hosts the popular podcasts WorkLife and ReThinking, and founded a web-based SaaS company called Give and Take with fellow professor Wayne Baker. He has a large following on Instagram (2.6 million followers) where he posts primarily motivational quotes from his works.

Before Fame

In high school, he was a springboard diver and won an All-American title in 1999. He attended Harvard University and then the University of Michigan for his master's and PhD.

Trivia

He has consistently been ranked best professor by his students. His published books include Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success, Originals: How Non-Conformists Move the World, Option B: Facing Adversity, Building Resilience, and Finding Joy and Think Again: The Power of Knowing What You Don't Know.

Family Life

His father was a lawyer, and his mother was a teacher. He married his college sweetheart Allison, and the couple had two daughters and a son.
