She was raised by her grandparents, as her mother died at a young age. She had a strong imagination and wanted to act, or pursue another creative career. She was in a few movies, but she skyrocketed to international fame when played the role of busybody Khelina on Mzansi Magi's Diep City, a performance which earned her a best in performance Royalty Soapy nomination and win.

She often did stand up comedy shows in her native language Sepedi. She won many awards throughout her career, including best Limpopo female actress 2022. She studied at Indigo Theater in Las Vegas, and did the voice of Sylvia on the radio show Mahlakung.

She was born and died in South Africa. She never married.
