Álex Montoya

Spanish filmmaker who has made multiple short films including La Casa and Lucas. He has won numerous awards at festivals such as the Málaga Festival and Sundance Film Festival. He has a popular YouTube channel alex_montoya, which has attained 1 million subscribers. On his channel, he has mainly posted clips from his short films as well as behind-the-scenes footage. 

Before Fame

In 1999, he released his first short film REC. In 2002, he followed up with his second short film Te Quiero. 

Trivia

In addition to being a film director, he is also a writer and a producer.  In 2019, he released his first feature film titled Asamblea.

He was born in Valencia, Spain.
