Biographical television film based on the inspirational story of Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf, and her teacher Anne Sullivan. The film is directed by Nadia Tass. It was based on the 1959 play of the same title by William Gibson.
Trivia
The play was adapted for the screen twice before. In 1962, Patty Duke starred as Keller and Anne Bancroft played Sullivan. In a 1979 adaptation, Melissa Gilbert was Keller and Patty Duke portrayed Sullivan.
